When you visit one of our websites, our partner Sirdata creates cookies that enable tailored offers to be communicated – for example, by displaying ‘banners’ – also on other websites on which SIRDATA CMP technology is implemented.

3.How do I configure or refuse cookies?

You have several options for managing cookies. Any changes you make may affect your Internet browsing experience and your conditions of access to certain services requiring the use of cookies. You can choose at any time to express and modify your wishes with regard to cookies, by the means described below.

3.1 Choices offered by your browser software

You can configure your browser software so that cookies are stored on your device or, conversely, so that they are rejected, either systematically or depending on the sender. You can also configure your browser software so that you are offered the option of accepting or rejecting cookies from time to time, before a cookie is likely to be stored in your device. For more information, see ‘How to exercise your choices, depending on the browser you use’.

3.1.1 Agreement on cookies

The recording of a cookie in a device is essentially subject to the wishes of the user of the Device, which can be expressed and modified at any time and free of charge through the choices offered to them by their browser software. If you have accepted the storage of cookies on your Device in your browser software, the cookies embedded in the pages and content that you have consulted may be stored temporarily in a dedicated space on your Device. They will only be readable there by the sender.

3.1.2 Refusing cookies

If you refuse to accept cookies on your device, or if you delete the cookies stored on your device, you will no longer be able to take advantage of a certain number of functions which are nevertheless necessary to make full use of our site. This would be the case if you tried to access our content or services that require you to be identified. Where applicable, we decline all responsibility for the consequences linked to the degraded operation of our services resulting from the impossibility for us to record or consult the cookies necessary for their operation and which you would have refused or deleted.

4.Push Notifications

You have the option of signing up to receive push notifications. To do this, we use the ‘CleverPush’ service operated by CleverPush GmbH, Nagelsweg 22, 20097 Hamburg (‘CleverPush’).

You will receive regular information about Products or services.

To subscribe to push notifications, you will need to confirm your browser’s or terminal’s request to receive notifications. This process is documented and saved by CleverPush. To this end, the time of registration and a push token or device identifier are recorded. This data is used on the one hand to send you push notifications and on the other hand as proof of your registration. The legal basis for this processing is your consent and therefore Article 6, par. 1 letter a of the RGPD.

CleverPush also evaluates the statistics of our push notifications. CleverPush can thus recognise if and when our push notifications have been displayed and when a user has clicked on them. This enables us to determine which push notifications are of interest to recipients in order to adapt future messages to the presumed interests of all recipients and thereby increase interest in our offer. In addition to the push token or device ID, we also record the central theme of the application on which push notifications have been activated (e.g. business, sport, etc.). We also use this information to send the relevant subscribers push notifications in their presumed interests. The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1) letter F of the GDPR. A push token or device identifier is assigned to a specific person only if we are legally required to do so, to defend against claims against us if this is necessary as evidence, and to prosecute a possible breach of the law.

You may at any time revoke your consent to the storage and use of your personal data to receive our push notifications with effect for the future. In addition, you may at any time object to the use of your personal data as described above in accordance with article 6, paragraph 1 letter f. To this end, please revoke your consent. You can revoke your consent in the appropriate setting for receiving push notifications in your device or browser settings.

Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. Your data will therefore be kept for as long as your subscription to our push notifications is active.

The release process is explained in detail under the following link: cleverpush FAQ.

In order to speed up the retrieval of content (e.g. images) and to defend against attacks, CleverPush uses cloudflare.com, a Cloudflare, Inc. offering, to process orders on the basis of standard contractual clauses.

On Cloudflare servers, CleverPush does not store any data containing personal data, but only general content such as text or images. When retrieving this content, the device you are using establishes a connection to Cloudflare, which involves processing the IP address of the terminal you are using.
